I love the way you mixed different mythologies into one story.

I'd have never thought to put Odin and Hades together, or would have I?

I put Aztec and Germanic gods in a pantheon.

Very nicely done.

This feels lovingly crafted, with an attention to scene and detail that is rare. Beautiful beginning to a story.

Thank you, Joseph. I've always thought of the various spiritual frameworks as akin; each culture has a piece of the elephant and all those pieces make complete human experience. Weaving together Celtic, Norse, Greek, and other mythologies and stories has been joyous. I do believe we all have much more in common than modern culture would have us realize. We need each other. We can learn from each other. We can enrich and support one another.

Thank you, Elizabeth. I'm very pleased to connect with you. We have much in common. I poked around your sites and read about Google's update, blogging, minimalism, money, and the no-path for us writers in terms of getting traditionally published. Made me want to sit down and have lunch with you! I think we'd have a lot to talk about. I hope you enjoy my work, and I intend to explore your space opera, as well. I'll be following you with interest and I'll respond to your "Tell me about yourself" this weekend when I'm not busy with my paycheck job! Thanks very much for your support and reaching out. It means a lot.
